JOB TITLE: PACKAGE / PRODUCT DESIGNER

THE COMPANY
Renowned Gift and Home product design firm based in Westchester County, New York (40 minutes from Manhattan) seeks a Package/Product Designer to add to its established product design team.
We are looking for talented, bright and creative individuals to join our team. You must have a passion for creating new product ideas from concept to completion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create designs (packaging and product) that support product line plans.
- Research and develop collection’s trends, themes, concepts and styling.
- Gather market data on key fashion trends considering such elements as fabrication, materials, color schemes and designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions of new product ideas.
- Deliver on “Two’s Signature Style, High design at good value”.
Specific Skills:
- Minimum 2 - 5 years product/package design experience.
- Creative thinker passionate about product/package design and development.
- Highly refined sense of style and great understanding of fashion, home decor and gift trends.
- Team player with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Solid Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign knowledge required.
- Ability to render mechanical drawings explaining a product's specifications.
- Neat hand skills with the ability to build product & packaging comps.
- Web design, DreamWeaver & Flash experience a plus Gift/Home Product design experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication or equivalent.
